About the film
1911. Russian Empire. After murdering 12-year-old Andrey Yushchinsky, a repeat offender Pyotr Singaevsky and his incestuous lover Vera Cheberyak accuse the Jews of ritual murder. This leads to the arrest of an innocent Jewish clerk, Menachem Beilis, which becomes one of the most notorious anti-Semitic cases in the world.
